St. George altar society is a women’s organization that serves to raise funds for the continuing beautification of the altar where Jesus lay. The early Mass coffee groups and annual turkey dinner are our two primary fund raisers. As well as financing the altar flowers, altar cloths and Father’s vestments, this society also has a special group of women that provide a meal following funeral services. In the spring, we offer four scholarships to deserving high school seniors in rewards for their dedication to parish activities. This organization is led by five elected volunteers and is always looking for new members.
